Strength Hub

Privacy policy

Last updated 28 October 2026

Strength Hub is a training app for powerlifting coaches and their athletes. This policy explains what information it holds about you, why, who can see it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

Strength Hub is run by Super Training Events Ltd, trading as Strength Analytics, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13808556). In this policy "we" and "us" means that company.

For anything about your information, email us at support@strengthhub.app.

Your coach and us

If you are an athlete, your coach decides what information to keep about you and what it is for. For that information your coach is the data controller, and we store and process it for them, following their instructions. Your coach is usually the best person to ask about it first.

We are the data controller for coaches' own accounts, for signing in to the athlete app, for the technical data that keeps Strength Hub secure and working, and for our website.

What we hold

About athletes, entered by your coach or by you:

  • Your name, email address and other contact details your coach adds.
  • Your public competition results, which come from OpenPowerlifting, an open record of powerlifting meets.
  • Your training: the programme your coach writes, the sets you log, your notes, how long sessions take, and your competition plans and game day results.
  • Health information: your bodyweight weigh-ins, how ready you feel before a session, how a session went, and, if your coach asks you to fill one in, a health screening questionnaire.
  • If your coach sends you an agreement to sign, your typed name, the time you signed, and the internet address and device you signed from, kept as the record of what you agreed to.
  • If you applied to a coach through their application form, your answers to it.

About coaches: your name, email address, profile and branding, and everything you enter about your athletes and your business.

About everyone who uses Strength Hub:

  • Technical information: your internet address, the type of device and browser, error reports and performance measurements. On the website, but never in the iPhone app, we may also record what happened on screen when something goes wrong, with all text and anything typed hidden, so we can fix it.
  • Visit counts for our pages, which do not use cookies and do not identify you.

Health information

Bodyweight, readiness scores and health screening answers are health information, which the law protects more strictly. They are used only so your coach can plan and adjust your training. The health screening asks for your explicit agreement before you answer, and you can ask for your answers to be deleted at any time without anything else being deleted.

On your phone

The athlete portal and the iPhone app save your training on your phone so you can log sets without signal, and send it when signal returns. The app remembers which portal you signed in to. Rest alerts and the lock-screen session card are set up on your phone itself: nothing is sent through a push notification service.

How we use it

  • To run Strength Hub: showing athletes their training, letting them log it, and showing coaches what was done.
  • To sign you in and keep your account secure.
  • To send the emails Strength Hub sends, such as sign-in codes and messages your coach writes to you.
  • To find and fix problems, and to improve Strength Hub.

We never sell your information, never show adverts, and never track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Who can see it

  • Your coach, for everything about you as their athlete.
  • The companies that run parts of Strength Hub for us, only to do that job: Supabase (our database and file storage), Vercel (hosting the website and visit counts), Resend (sending emails, and holding the emails you send to our support address) and Sentry (error reports). Each is bound by a contract to protect your information.
  • Apple, if you install the iPhone app. Apple's own privacy policy covers that.
  • Anyone the law requires us to share it with, such as the police with a court order.

Some of these companies store or process information outside the UK, including in the United States. When they do, it is protected by the safeguards UK law requires, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Athletes' information is kept for as long as you are in your coach's Strength Hub account, including if they archive you. When your coach deletes you from their account, your training, your competition plans and the billing records about you are deleted with you. Some records stay with your coach as their own record until they delete them or you ask for them to be deleted: signed agreements, health screening answers, the application you sent them, and the emails they sent you through Strength Hub. Error reports are deleted automatically after a short period. Deleted information leaves our backups as they are replaced.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit how it is used, to object to how it is used, or to have a copy to take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

If you are an athlete, your coach holds your information, so ask them first. You can also contact us and we will help, or pass your request to your coach. We answer within one month.

If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Deleting your information

  • Athletes: ask your coach to delete you from their Strength Hub account, which deletes your training information, and to delete the records they keep about you. Or contact us and we will arrange it.
  • Signing out of the iPhone app removes your sign-in from your phone. Deleting the app removes everything it saved on your phone.
  • Coaches: contact us to close your account and delete your information.

Children

Strength Hub is not meant for children under 13. A coach should add an athlete under 18 only with their parent or guardian's agreement.

Cookies

Coaches' browsers keep a sign-in cookie, which Strength Hub needs to keep them signed in. We use no advertising cookies, and our visit counts use no cookies at all.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters, we tell coaches before it takes effect.
